As a little girl, I spent hours weekly in my grandmother's studio surrounded by her mannequins, pastels & oils; she was a professional painter whose portraits were shown at Memphis Brooks Museum & for her couturier creations "Ageri" she was chosen by The Commercial Appeal Fashion Department as one of top ten designers in Memphis.
I saw the world through her eyes & it was beautiful.

As a little girl, with both of my parents holding degrees in Architecture and my father practicing at a firm in Alexandria, VA, I was surrounded by drafting boards filled with leading lines governed by whimsy & intrigue.

Soon after the birth of my first child I picked up a camera & quickly realized that wedding photography was my mannequin, my paint brush, my drafting board. I had found my artistic medium & with my Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing degree, I opened up my business in the fall of 2013.

Being in business for ten years does something to your soul. It can be a defining moment- to continue with what works well & stay the same or to light a fire in your soul to push the limits on what you can do even further.
I am choosing the latter.
